Default Universal Acoustics Vibro Pads

1. Name of the product:

Universal Acoustics Vibro Pads

2. When you bought the product:

Thursday 4th Feb 2010

3. Why you bought it:

I'm trying to save/create space in my room. The Quiklok monitor stands I have do take up quite a lot of space. So I bought these to test out how well they'd work when the monitors are moved onto the desk, with these underneath.

4. How much did it cost:

£32

5. Installation / Setup:

Easy. Open and go !

6. What do you like about it?:

Easy to use and adjustable. They do a good job of decoupling your monitors from the surface they are sat on. My current desk is lightweight, made from hollow metal and an mdf top. It's lack of weight and design would make it prone to resonate. With more solid furniture, the results would be better.

7. What donít you like about it?:

Nothing as such. The price for this sort of thing is silly for what they are.

8. Any improvements:

Maybe make them in different colours.

9. Comparison to similar products:

Pretty much identical to Mopads !

10. Would you buy it again:

Yes.

11. Platform:

N/A

12. Pros and cons summary:

Good at what it does. One of those things you buy but it will always be under appreciated.

13. Rating:

4/5[/QUOTE]

I'm not sure yet. I still have to move the room round, clear more out and get new furniture. Ideally I'd like to keep them, but if I don't find space for them after all of the changes. I guess they'd go.
