Default Writing a good Biography

So have any of you guys got experience in writing a good Bio, whats hot and whats not, any tips or tricks you can offer me as i have to write one up?

Key is don't write a generic one as it will inevitably look generic. Thanks about it's objective, it's audience and what you want them to take away from it. That goes as much for the style as the content.

3rd person sounds more impersonal and professional and also like someone else is promoting you...not yourself...it seems like some one else has an opinion of you.
