This is probably a pile of shite so i make no excuses if it is...

here goes

"Deep, Soulful, Futuristic and techy all spring to mind when the name Sureno is mentioned. Sureno has an unquenched passion for House music! He is from west London so is close to where he needs to be to flourish and develop!

with sureno constantly hard at work in the studio and his new debut upcoming releases prominent, it may be worth us taking a trip into where he began and the roots of his ambition to DJ & Produce House music, as Sureno will be a name that will be cropping up more and more in the House community. So now is your chance to learn a bit about this enigmatic producer and relate to him as a lover of House music!

At a very young age not even recalled by himself, Sureno received a Walkman as a birthday gift, from that day on he would go no where with out it listening to a wide variety of music and really what ever he could get his hands on. At the age of 16 sureno finally saved enough money to by his first pair of turntables, Gemini PT-2000's where he taught himself the art of DJ'ing. shortly after he became capable of a competent mix and began DJing at local radio stations and clubs. at the age of 18 unfortunately sureno no longer had the turntables and had to stop DJ'ing but continually listened to good music until the age of 26 where the opportunity of acquiring a set of Technics 1210's presented itself to him. Jumping all over this opportunity Sureno quickly jumped back on them and began DJ'ing soulful house music, immediately being offered work at a bar. this time round he felt this was not enough, he wanted to learn how to produce what he was playing so seeked assistance from a good friend and colleague and was introduced to his first DAW. 2 years on the rest is history and he is ready to be set loose, leaving his mark on all of the House loving world and is here to stay!!!

His plans for the future are to continue releasing good music and excel provide the listener with this experience so that the love of house he has can burn in the hearts of others by releasing tracks and DJing constantly, he would like to see the name Sureno become a house hold brand for the house community.

So on that note all that is left to say about Sureno is watch out for this hardworking producer in a digital download store near you... a change is coming!"

Sorry mate, but I think it's a bit long-winded. Too fairytale-like IMO. I'm going to be blunt as I hope that is what you want...honest opinions to help you improve it. While you obviously have happy memories of your Walkman...who really cares!
Obviously, starting out there isn't much to talk about but I'd try to concentrate on things like the type of music you produce and where you've gigged. In this view, the first paragraph is good. I would edit it like this maybe:

"Deep, Soulful, Futuristic and techy all spring to mind when the name Sureno is mentioned. This West Londoner has an unquenchable passion for House music and is in the heart of where he needs to be to flourish and develop in this genre of modern music!"

Or something like that! Obviously, I don't want to rewrite what you have written as it's personal too!

Anyway, hope this helps a bit...still friends????

Amended version to date...

Deep, Soulful, Futuristic and techy all spring to mind when the name Sureno is mentioned. This West Londoner has an unquenchable passion for House music and is in the heart of where he needs to be to flourish and develop in this genre of modern music!

Try this for size (the invoice is in the post):

Quote:
Deep, Soulful, Futuristic,Techy... Sureno! His heart is in House, his body in the City, and his head? Where it needs to be to help take the genre to the next level! Where else?!?

While Sureno's in the studio finalizing his forthcoming release, it may be worth us taking a trip to see where it all began. DJ & Producer, Sureno's name and sound will be cropping up more and more in the House community. Before that happens step inside Sureno-land, learn a bit about this enigma and relate to his love of House music!

Like many before him the bright yellow Walkman his [age] birthday brought started his journey. Whether he was at the cinema or his [oregami] lesson his dear old mother couldn't prize it out of his hands. It was to be [how many?] years before he finally saved enough money to by his first pair of turntables, Gemini PT-2000's. It was like a cowboy reunited his with his horse [or indeed the milkman with his cart]: they needed little introduction. In no time he began DJing at local clubs and radio stations as the Word spread.

As it has a way of doing, life intervened and it was to be 8 years before Sureno, like the prodigal son, returned to the music. After acquiring a set of Technics 1210's Sureno quickly jumped back on the wagon [cart] and began DJ'ing soulful house music, initially at a local bar but quickly moving further afield. As he moved he grew. Taking on the digital world he accelerated through Logic, Protools and production theory in an incredibly short period.

The rest, as they say, is history. He's now ready to take it to the final level: to firmly place his mark on all of the House loving world. With the aim of taking his love of house to the hearts of others it won't be long. So watch out (and in particular watch a digital download store near you)... the name Sureno is about to become become a household brand in the House.

This is a very hard thing to do without sounding like an idiot. Especially if you write in the third person and then your contact details link back to your own personal hotmail account.

When written by someone else who you may have paid to write it. Write in the third person yourself and you will get sussed. Gives the claims of inventing Trance, Techno and being at some seriously seminal loft parties the slight stench of bullshit.

(BTW Sureno, I wasn't saying you were an Idiot. )
