What scripting is exactly when its been used in context with Native Instruments Kontakt 3, i presume its a kind of code used to create instruments but could some one please elaborate on this im curious about maybe playing around with it?

Scripts can

-change volume/panning/tuning of a specific note
-fade in/out a specific note
-specify which groups should be used for playing back a specific note
-start playback of a note at any sample offset (only in Sampler mode)
-control a wide range of Kontakt parameters

And here you can find some more info

Hello old bean!

Scripting is the opportunity for you to extend the capabilities of an instrument in order to make it do unique things for you.

The best thing you should do is check out the Kontakt 2 DVD. It's not cheap, but it's worth it! Once you've learned the stuff on that, you'll find that Kontakt 3 will probably come much easier.
