Oh well. Just a suggestion. TBH, I'm not really convinced by it either; probably has similar issues to cracks! Just not healthy for your system. Good idea though! But I suppose it'd be better to have a large group of people petition the developers to make a plugin-type-specific version.

From October 2008 SOS Mag... (Summary)

Dedicated virtual Instrument track (insert a soft synth on the same track as the MIDI control data) Cakewalk say this new function works equally well with both mono and stereo instruments

Loop Explorer 2.0 Midi grooves can be previewed, dragged and dropped to the track view.

Aim assist cursor : Gives a visual guide to help users line up multiple tracks.

Multiple clips can be grouped together after each recording pass, making multi track comping easier.

Free Edit tool...perform edits by clips or by time without the need for a modifier key.

Real time rendering of the output of plugin Fx and instruments “Live Bounce”

Arm and unarm audio and MIDI tracks while Sonar is playing or recording.

Tracks can be hidden from the console view and track view (synced).

Change audio devices without restarting.

Faster launch time.

Beatscape:
16 virtual trigger pads (each with a rex file player, FX processors and slicing tools to manipulate loop based grooves) Drag and drop between track view. Beatscape includes 4GB of content.

hi, according to Brandon Ryan, who works for cakewalk the SOS article was written months ago and they have apparently added even more features since!!

I can't wait till monday when everything will be revealed!
