Here's a thread about latency in Logic.. some similarities may (or may not) suggest themselves...?

I know it seems desperately obvious but...have you ajdusted your latency settings in Cubase recently? Maybe pushed them up a bit and perhaps did not lower them before using Reason?

I would check the latency settings in both Reason and Cubase. Just a double check.

Could Cubase be using the wrong sound card? It might have picked up your onboard card an be using that instead. I would double check that in Reason as well.

When I have used Rewire in the past and had strange problems, shutting down both Rewire apps (in the right order) and then restarting them again (in the right order) usually solves any problems. Rewire sadly as useful as it can be, it's not a perfect solution just yet.
