Help with 2.5

I cant seem to browse the presets of the instruments in reason 2.5? at first reason was always asking me to insert the bank cd's in on start up but i overcome this by copying contents to my sample library and changing sound refill location in preferences, but reason is behaving very erratically sometimes showing me all the instruments presets other times just the "open browser" option? any ideas? and what i also noticed when i close the demo project and create new it simply opens the demo project up again. i only installed my old reason 2.5 on my intel mac to simply mess about with it, not really keen on getting v4 unless i really got on with 2.5.
