Default My new pub band

http://www.myspace.com/smashlinerband

I turned up to dep in with 2 other guys (well, guy and girl) who were also depping in for a band who couldn't make it a couple of weeks ago. On my way there, I was wondering why I said yes, I'd never met them before and we had only scrambled a set together by email.
On my way home, I was wondering how I came to be so fortunate to end up doing stuff like this. Really cool guys and really fantastic musicians, a great reminder why I sacrificed school for 6 strings..

Decent set of covers there, and good for you!

Let me know if you're ever playing over my way

Impressive set of covers (I know what doing covers takes)... and that's one very tight drummer you have there!

Cool stuff BFB! Keep up the good work and carry on having lots of fun.

By the way, although I am a half Irish geezer who grew up in a small town in Ireland, I was born in Barnet, Herts. So I am in some way also a bloke from Barnet.

Cheers

Actually, in that case Saxman, I should be bloke from East London I've actually only been to Ireland a couple of times, once with a band. It was really cool almost everyone in the pub could sing or play something, so it ended up being a kind of jam/sing-along till about 6am!
