Default Installing PT9 on a Synergy + 003 setup

Has anyone out there (DV mods included) got a schedule for upgrading from PT8 to PT9 on a system setup and supplied by Digital Village? Got the upgrade from DV but confess nervousness, despite being a computer 'power user' as the DAW setups are new to me - i.e. never self-loaded a machine, just bought it setup. The furtherest I've gone was to upgrade from PT8.00 to PT8.03 as I was experiencing some serious glitches whilst recording.
To explain my nervousness a bit further: do I have to worry about audio drivers, given taking a 'True Image' of the current setup would be sensible prior to upgrade (sure things never go wrong but there's always a first time ) what is it need to save, will the upgrade mess with the allocations to the various drives I currently have.
There are more of the above concerns but I hope you get the picture.

If this is a question I should put direct to DV then who and where?

Oh yes, if it is of use in answering my concerns, the current beast is a Synergy Origin AW700 Tower IncSware Pack/Windows 7 Pro/i7 Quad 2.66/3GB DDR3/500GB HD/Nvidia 7200GS GC/DVDRW with a Synergy Belkin 3-Port FireWire PCI 3 x IEEE 1394a - FireWire - Plug-in Card and 2 additional Synergy Silent Drives, 500GB 7200Rpm Serial ATA2 Hard Drive 16Mb Cache Seagate Barracuda & Scythe Silencer Enclosure.

Thanks in advance folks

Generally speaking the DUC is the best place for questions like this.
