Mac OSX Update Combo 10.5.7

This might not be the correct forum for this thread but..

As mentioned here, I updated OSX to 10.5.7 last night but via the Apple updater.

Trev, has told me it's better to go via Digidesign and get the Combo updater.

As far as I can see, the link on Digi takes me directly to Apple anyway. That said, there were server problems on the download so it took a while to get it.

The questions are:
1. should I still go ahead and install the combo on top of the update I did last night or will that cause a problem.
2. do I need to reinstall PT8 or is it good to go?

install the combi-updater. It provides a version of OS which removes conflict with digi drivers. No need to reinstall (or at least there shouldnt be)

As it's really an OSX issue, I wasn't sure where to put it! Modz1...do you thing!
