So you don't already have an iLok...? You will also need an M-Powered license on said iLok to make it work (that sells for about £175. Not sure if it includes the iLok or not).

The cs9 update can be applied straight to PT, it encompasses all previous updates.

im getting confused now i already got a m powered m audio usb audio and i got the ilok/pace driver on my pc dont i just need the ilok dongle?

Yes, you need the iLok dongle, but the iLok dongle will have the license on it that runs Pro Tools (in addition to any other software licenses you want to put on it)...

So all i right now need is that Ilok Dongle for 30 pounds and then it can run?

cause i got my other stuff set.

Do you have an M-Powered license (as in, have you paid for the software)? I'm guessing not. In which case you'll also need this:

cs9 works straight too 7.4 this is the version i use, get your dongle, install your pace anti piracy software, go to the ilok website, sync your iloc , then run your software.
