Default wow i got the update this morning !!

i cant believe how fast digi were at responding to my registration and giving me my pro tools le 8 free upgade !! i only sent it off late last night and first thing this morning i got the link and they also gave me some more codes for the melodyne essentials upgrade and nearly 6gb worth of free samples !!! plus all the new plug ins that get bundled with pro tools le8 thats a bargain ..

im very very happy with this purchase an wish more companys would treat there customers better ,,when i got the upgrade from steinberg to cubase 5 i had to wait nearly a month to get a response to say i could get it !!

i suggest anyone thinking of buying into pro tools do it now the bundles dv247 are doing wont be available for long because all other places have sold out the only place selling the pro tools studio bundles i could find was dv247 and they were also the cheapest.

heres the links to purchase them...highly recomended

oh yeah and another thing i should mention why this is a great deal is when you get your bundles they dont come lose like some bundles these are all seperatly boxed up so say you want the mbox 2 and want pro tools le8 but you dont need the mic and dont need the speakers then you could sell these on ebay as brand new because there all boxed up seperatly..
the mics worth over 60 pounds on its own !! and the speakers go for around 100 pounds !! plus you get all the cables thrown i free and also you get the i-lok usb key thats worth nearly 30 pounds so if you sell those you could get the mbox 2 and pro tools 8 for less than 100 pounds ..oh yeah and you also get the full boxed version of structre le not a oem copy structures worth over 100 pounds and you also get the method one training dvd worth 30 pounds too in the big box you get ..beware the box is heavy its around 25 kg when you get the personal studio bundle ,

Good to hear some optimism on what suppliers are doing for their customers eh Waxxy?

I myself took delivery of a boxed Pro Tools 8 last week and am Sooooooooooo looking forward to getting it installed and starting my (refreshed) learning curve

That sounds great waxxy!

I'm expecting my 003 Rack+ Factory http://www.dv247.com/invt/58158/ into my hands on Monday!!! Really looking forward to that!

It sounds like you kit shipped with LE7. I presumed LE8 would now be shipping with the hardware. Wonder what will come with mine when it comes in the door!

from what ive been reading they all come with le7.4 but once you register with digidesign they send you a email link to get pro tools 8.

ive just had a quick go off le8 and its 100 times better than le7.4 !! the new plug ins are amazing im loving vacum thats one beast of a synth and love the sample packs you get free also..really impressed with it but too be honest the midi still seems very basic and cant touch cubase 5 for handling midi.

but on the whole i think its a great product but its gonna take me a longtime getting used to how its different to what im used to..in cubase i can fly around editing and mixing but this is harder because the loop function isnt on the transport bar you have to click on it in the menus in the options.but the zero latency thing is brilliant and so is the new grand piano ..i think ill go get the new future music special pro tools le8 guide that will help me understand things better and ill study the tutorial dvd you get with the mbox 2 i know its for le7.4 but im sure most of the basic operations will be the same.
