Default Windows is not recognsing my M-box...

I found someone else who has the same problem.

If you observe the pictures posted by Omnicron:

http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/...howtopic=52813

That is exactly what my problem looks like.

My M-box is working fine with protools, but whenever i want to listen to anything from any other program on windows i have to run it through a different soundcard.

I have already reinstalled protools twice.

Shouldn't the latest version of the digi wave driver have been installed when i install pt8?

I'm pretty sure if download those drivers i am just going to be told a more recent version is already installed and that it needs to be removed before i can install the new* (outdated*) version.

I would ideally like a wave of installing the latest version of digidesigns drivers without having to reinstall protools.

What does that program actually do? lol

I'm on XP SP3.

Thanks Sureno.

Is that the only way to do it?

Meh, it's easier just to use another soundcard for windows and other sequencers, i'll need to get some more cables so i can route the outputs of both interfaces into my speakers.

Thanks once again
