Default Same Issue, Different Parts

Hey Guys,

Thanks for this thread. I had the same thing happen to my Compact 10 a couple of years ago, but would love to have it back.

When I opened up my board, I noticed that the block below the transistor is also pretty charred. Do you guys have any idea exactly what part that is?

Not sure what you mean by "block below the transistor"?

The transistor is a square with 3 leads out the bottom.

I had to swap out the transistor, and the capacitor above it.
