Default Anyone got experience of analogue summing mixers

Hi, I am looking into purchasing an analogue summing mixer as i seem to get more detailed mixdowns when i take my Protools sessions to a friends studio and run them down the desk. I was looking at the dangerous music D-box. Has anyone done any AB tests on analogue Vs digital summing?? or anybody using an external summing mixer to get down to 2track.
