Question YAMAHA P5000S Amplifier

Hi, i'm looking at purchasing 2 x Yamaha AX15M monitors and the Yamaha P5000s amplifier to drive them.

What i am wondering is if anyone can tell me if i can join two of the monitors together and run them off one channel. I know that the impedance will drop to 4 ohms as the monitors run at 8 ohms normally. Or would this damage the amp??

Hopefully someone can help...

Thanks
