Atmosphere was awesome. Omnisphere has all of the awesome of Atmosphere (as it has ALL the sounds) + way, way, way more. How can it not be amazing?

Yes, eventually you'll hear it everywhere, but as I've said already you'll only notice if you're a regular user of it too...

There's so much useable stuff in Atmosphere beyond the evolving pads etc - wicked strings, some great vintage-type synth leads, basses, and pads. Building on that is going to make this a must-have for everyone, regardless of genre.

We should know by the end of today when America wake up. The upgrades will only be available from Spectrasonics website.

Huh? How do they plan to ship the content? Am I going to have to pay duty/taxes/overseas shipping etc? That's seriously uncool. Unless they expect me to download 40GB of sounds, which is even uncooler.

The marketing machine at Spectrasonics deserve an award IMO for creating such tension and expectation.
