It woulds seem Wave arts Tube saturator is adding harmonics emulating tape , where as Soundtoys Decapitator is a much more bold full on distortion plugin , i dont think the 2 should be compared their different plugins.

i get confused with that, i thought decimator would add subtle harmonic distortion, i know i can use echoboy to add saturation which it does quite well
