Not my work, I may add. A users perspective:
Here are a few key features of Alloy that will greatly benefit Ozone users: * Dynamics: new Vintage-modeled compressor with soft knee is perfect for shaping vocals, guitars, drums and other individual tracks * Sidechaining: lets you control Alloy's dynamics modules from other tracks in your mix * Dual Dynamics stages: full-featured flexible parallel compression and more * Transient Shaper: enhance percussive sounds for creative control, in single or multiband mode * Zero-latency mode: for ease of use on multiple tracks in a session—no concerns about delay compensation or tracks getting out of sync or phase * De-Esser: an essential tool for taming sibilance on vocals and more * Exciter: a new XY-pad based exciter lets you blend between different saturation types for new creative possibilities * Limiter: includes zero latency operation, and a variable phase rotation control for optimizing vocals and other instruments * Equalizer: exceptional sonic quality, precise controls, new steeper low and high pass filters * MacroPresets: over 150 professional presets with custom layouts that show you simplified controls for the task at hand. Like customizing things? Make your own custom plug-in layouts with this unique feature Alloy seems to use different types of algorithms to get a different sound for mixing specific purposes. Ozone is more transparent ( for mastering) and does not offer the amount of colorization options that Alloy can introduce with the transient and exciter modules. Alloy as I mentioned above also uses less CPU so you can insert it into more tracks if you wish. ______________________________
