Trillian Update Price

just wanted to ask, is it going to work out cheaper to simply buy Trilogy now (£149.99) and get the free upgrade or wait for the actual boxed version (€229) and avoid any shipping incurred???

Spectra have a good way around the customs but it's not 100%
Trillian will more than likely be sent flat packed much like omni was.

just wondering if i should go buy Trilogy

What's the small print on the DV advert about paying anything extra.

That's what you go on. They can't just spring a surprise.

the free upgrade is not offered by retailers but spectrsonics themselves so it's not where you buy it from but rather when you buy it to qualify

Or did you just go to the company site?

You can't be expected to visit a company site to check on what 'free' means from the shop. That would be out of order. It's up to DV to supply the information. If they have - great. If not - not great.

oh got you, very true IABP, however may be DV are getting a load of upgrade dvd's and issue them free to who bought from them?

I agree on the confirmation. There are a number of adverts with no explanation as to how updates end up in your possession.

I mentioned on another site that what was headline news on their site suddenly got shifted. And now the date for release has changed.

Trilian is set to be released June 29, 2009.
