Exclamation Arbiter is no more...

Breaking news... looks like the credit crunch claims another business. They're in administration with immediate effect, all employees made redundant.

They lost Steinberg anyway, but were still the UK distributor for Native Instruments, Moog and a number of other companies.

How this will affect availability of their products through retail channels here will remain to be seen I suppose - anything interesting to say, DV?

That is vaguely worrying. I'd have thought they'd have been pretty safe (but then I'm not really that well informed). Just goes to show I guess.

ive just read on another forum they also owned all the reverb stores ..if this is true maybe thats why i had problems getting my order last week im pretty lucky i got my order on thursday then..i took me ages and lots of phone calls too recieve my item.

The availability of many products previously distributed by Arbiter should significantly improve from this point on as we deal with both new distributors and manufacturers directly.

is that implying Arbiter where not efficient? may be a reason why they went bust???
