Default Antares Tune Evo.

This one slipped me by.

Looks like they are going after Melo in a big way. To be fair, they both have slightly different features (ie Antares has the 'quick' kets/scales mode, but Melo can generate midi files from audio etc)

Well, it all dpeends on which Melodyne you have. If you compare the plug version of Melodyne to Autotune... Antares teeth have just got a little bit sharper !

looks like they have caught up to celemony to a certain degree, but not for long DNA will shortly be out, hopefully Q1 2009.

I wish both of them would stick to just the technology and find someone who has a clue about user interaction to write the UI etc....

Then again - I say the same of steinberg and some folks actually like that - Ugh!

I actually like how Melodyne looks... well it works a lot better in either cr8 or studio versions.

My only with cr8 (which I have) is that when you line up 2 tracks in the arrange to play them with each other, if you click on the individual tracks window..it stops playing the other track. It can make judging adjustments difficult, because you then have to go back to to the arrangement...give yourself 10 seconds or so to roll in to the part you just edited..which is time consuming as well !

Up until now I've never liked the graph mode of Antares, but the latest incarnation looks a lot easier to live with !
