my lg arena entry ..what do you think?

ive uploaded a video of my entry to the lg arena competetion.
id like your opinions on it.
its really different to the orginal version which had blame it on the boogie as the tune behind the video i thought id go for a industrial/electro feel instead .

i also found yesterday after id uploaded it that theres another dj waxxy on youtube hes from south africa and is a reggee dj..i think ill try suing him ive been known as dj waxxy since the late 80s ..in fact i think im much older than him too so i am the original true dj waxxy lol

lo yeah i know i did 2 spelling mistakes at the end and its too late ive sent it off now

i hope they dont judge it on spelling or im screwed.i used windows movie maker to create the titles and did it when i was half a sleep.

thanks mate really appreciate your feedback..when is the dv247 remix comp coming up i saw it posted months ago then never saw anything about it again.

wow ill try make it into a longer track this weekend .im going to the beach tommorow and hoping to goto the frindge festival in edingburgh this week too and ive got new alloys to fit to my new car too and my wife wants to go shopping in birmingham (shes never been lol)while im there im hoping to pop into dv birmingham (ive never been i always order online)it all depends wether the baby behaves himself..we went to the trafford center today and we hired him one of those buggys so we can go shopping in peace and the little bugger kept opening the door and doing a team dives out the moving car lol.

ill put the wav file of the song onto my mp3 player and try and work out what to do with it..i know ill have to take the dj waxxy...vox out and i have got a vox in mind i wanna drop on it instead..when i was doing the track i dropped eminem on it and it kicked like a horse running in a field of tin tacks lol but i dont think itd get released id get sued or shot

but i will do a bootleg and upload it on diino.com so anyone can have it

one thing thats bugging me is the spelling mistakes at the end as the credits are rolling up ,i cant believe i uploaded it with badly spelt titles i hope they judge it on the music and video not the titles

nice work waxxy. I have one *tiny* little criticism, and it's TINY and maybe I just don't even understand the genre's requirements, but I think the crowd noises need to come down a bit earlier and not be *quite* as high in the mix. but we're talking just a finesse, nothing more.

i totally agree terminal it was a last minute thing putting that on. i did a few different mixs and the original one i was gonna put to the video had lots of the robot vox chatting away and my wife said it scared her so i thought sod it next best thing get the crowd out lol.

after hearing it a few times i agree though the crowd needs to be turned down slightly and to tweak the end fades on it too which i will do

i also added a stadium reverb of reverance i put it on one of the fx busses to save on ram and i think the fx return needs pumping up on the crowd channel but thats all things ill do later its too late now.

my wifes got the tune as her ringtone now lol ive just done her a quick 30 second loop and added the robot saying pick up the phone !!

IMO (and what do I know about this modern stuff) this is really good Waxxy. I thiink the music matches the video very well. If I had one criticism it's that the sound to picture isn't always perfectly synced. As a result you lose some of the impact. All good though!
