Default Something I recorded last year.

THought I'd post up my 'masterpiece' from last year at uni.

I recorded a local funk/soul band as part of my project. It was bloody hard work I tell you all. there was a lot going on and I only had an hour to get them through it. that included setting up and packing down.

Anyhow, I have to hand it in again, but I'm thinking of remixing it before I do. Would would you all change?

*File still loading. Should be on for 4pm

Hey Ed what do you mean by "re-mixing" it?
new elements
or
new levels and eq etc?

well i would like the funky "bow chic a wow wa" guitar bit to bite a bit more on the top sounds a bit muffled for my liking but thats just my pref. think Trev T3 and sax are the guys to comment on the rest.

must of been a great experience to record them

Default yeah

as the other dude mentioned...

the guitar sounds muffled...

there are some weird reverb action going on... kinda distracting and jarring instead of lush and smooth...

elements of the horns sound nice, that sort of crackling rumble is good...

guitar solo sounds muffled too...

singer seems to go out of tune and lots of places... but i could be wrong as i just had a quick listen...
