Default setting up system for Microphone use and playing music...

Hi all im new to this so please bear with me.........

I currently have two seperate systems, one has standard speaker cable(what would find in house stereo) which we run a mic through basically a hi fi, and another system which we play music through, has large speakers with a thicker cable and a connection on end which you twist to fix it into the amp.

The amp has blown and i want to know if there is a amp available on the market where i can have two different speaker cables going into it and seperating them in a mixer?

hopefully this makes sense..............
