Have you asked Yamaha directly?

That is a shame but I was half expecting Yamaha would be like that. I was much luckier years ago when I rang Roland about a faulty Jazz Chorus amp. I got put through to a technician who knew all about the amp. He explained that the chorus effect needed the two speakers to be working and that all I needed was a replacment speaker. I think it was something like £12.50 and shipped immediately.
The guys at Wilmslow Audio specialise in hi-fi speakers but I'm sure they might be able to point you in the direction of a replacement horn for your pro Yamaha unit. Their main business is speaker parts and kits. My high end hi-fi speakers are prebuilt ex-demo from them. What they don't know about speaker parts and sourcing those parts is not worth knowing, so like I say, it might be worth asking them even though pro audio and Yamaha are not their usual thing. I would expect you would need to give them as much info as possible though, ie, horn size, wattage, frequency. From the S115V manual the freq response of the S115V is 55Hz-16kHz with a 1.7kHz crossover. So the replacement would have to be 90 x 45 degree constant directivity horn that has at least 1.7kHz-16kHz response and a high power rating seeing as the S115V is rated at max 1000W. http://www.wilmslow-audio.co.uk |

Sounds like a good plan. The S112V is rated at max 750W whereas the S115V is rated at max 1000W. Hopefully this will not be a problem.
