Default JBL EON 15G2 vs Wharfdale Titan 15a?

Hi,

I'm interested in buying either of these speakers

JBL Eon 15 G2 599 pair

http://www.jblpro.com/catalog/genera...x?PId=93&MId=3

Wharfdale Titan 640

http://wharfedalepro.com/Home/Produc...ITANACTIVE/TIT AN15ACTIVE/tabid/320/Default.aspx

Has anyone had any experience with either of these speakers?

Which would you recommend out of these for a 5 piece soul band? I would like to be able to mic the kick, snare and possibly use a pair of overheads?

What are your thoughts / experiences with these speakers?

Havent used the Wharfedales but I have used the EONs extensively in Australia and they're a great box.

I use wharfedale active monitors in my live rig and think they are pretty good in bang for buck terms.

I've taken the plunge and went for a pair of JBL Eon15 G2, Yamaha MG166CX, stands, leads + delivery for 860.

Should hopefully last me a while!

Just a quick update.

I've been using the PA on a few small gigs and all I can say is wow!!

These speakers can sound really big and are very light to carry. Looking forward to trying them out on a bigger gig in a couple of weeks!!
