Looking for easy to move P A system for ageing solo keyboard performer.
Do you think 2-10" Db Opera with 2-12" Db bins or 2 new Mackie SRM 450v2 without any bins. Just for small venues 100 - 200 people. Anyone had experience with Bose L1 systems. Welcome any advice ,Thanks, Slow Ed. |

Hi Eddie,
Graham from Dv Here. I often dep in a band who use the original Mackie Srm450s and love to use them and we do seem to sell a lot of them. The reason why is that they are fairly easy to move, you don't need to have them up loud for them to sound good and also they are comfortable to listen to for long periods of time unlike some speakers which belt out a lot of middle or just pump bass compromising the top end. The Version2 is of the same high standard but is lighter yet again and has an even better bass response. We can also supply some light weight but fairly robust speaker stands |

It's a shame that the 450's get such a slating in the pro world. I've used them a lot and whilst they aren't meyers they do a decent job
I have to say I have also been impressed by the studio spares fortissimo range. Not quite as well finished as they could be but they don't sound bad at all. With a wheely bag they are quite easy to shift about. Matthew |
