Is anybody out there not ashamed to say they use FL Studio?
I have it on my PC and haven't run it in I don't know how long. Sonar and NI Akoustic Piano were acting up this morning. Kore2 doesn't seem to want to cooperate either. So, to try out the free CM Soundpack, I decided to open FL Studio. I had forgotten how easy it is to put something together. And it runs without any complaints! Does anyone out there use it regularly or as their main "DAW"? ______________________________

Presumably, it would be more desirable to complete a project in a "bigger" DAW, but FL has it's uses I think. ______________________________

I think oh-wise-one (long time since I called you THAT!) that that fact is well documented here on these forums! Mac here I come. PT here I come.
Sonar IS good...but it spends TOO much time fighting against me! When I opened FL this morning and bang bang away you go, I thought (again) "what am I doing with a DAW that causes me trouble?" ![]() ______________________________

I had a nasty momentary thought this morning. I moved from FL to Sonar. And then this thought picked my brain - what advantage did it have to spend all that money on Sonar, books, videos, Rapture Pro when all I have got is headaches. Then I kicked myself in the ass and told myself I must have learned something about sequencing, tracking and programming. So on with the show!
But it would be funny if I abandoned Sonar for FL, now wouldn't it? ![]() ______________________________

On my PC-based laptop the first application I'd install would be FL Studio as the environment is quick and relatively easy to use with low CPU usage
