Question Ear protection

Are people using it when they play or attend gigs? I've been to too many gigs lately that have been way too loud, and I need to do something about it.

Any experience with this outfit?

Custom Made Ear Protection

Looks almost too good to be true - custom protection for only around £50, and they visit you to make the molds... how are they turning profit with the price of travel and petrol in this country??

Any other suggestions for where to consider getting custom protection made? Off-the-shelf plugs are fine in a pinch but they do have that 'muffling' effect on live music that you don't get with proper plugs...

Our guitarist was referred by his doctor and got a pair... I think they were around the £200 mark. He uses them at every gig, though it took him a while to get used to them.

I always carry a pair in my pocket whether Iím walking or attending a very loud 56KW JBL THX sound system. Gigs I donít waste my time with something where I canít get decent wide stereo!
