No idea - no style has been sugested. I personally think its worth keeping not to far from commercial dance music tempo ranges (126-136) just to enable practical remixes - someone suggested 128 which aint a bad idea - right in the middle of the current club music tempo range.

That aside, those involved are into all sorts of music, some house/trance/electro/industrial etc, others rock/accoustic/guitar/keys, general pop I guess.

Any votes/sugggestions? Worth posting the genres people are actually into just to see where the middle ground sits?

I'm into anything, but I'm 'better' at drumming to alternative/prog rock/metal!

Think the idea was each add a single part only - be kind of interesting to see what someone else makes of your part when you probably had something else in mind to go with it

But if doing two parts, then yes - bounce them separately.

Yeah, without making it more complicated than originally planned. The idea is just to put down whatever you want. If you have an awesome bass line in your head, get it down and send it along. Structure doesn't *really* come into play until 3-4 parts down the line, but as Khazul has already said - the interesting part is what the others come up with after you've heard it already.

So, we're still waiting - whoever wants to start. Get it going, just let us know via this thread. If nobody has started by Tuesday, i'll get it going.

What a cool idea. Hope I'm not too late, I'd love to throw on a guitar and/or vocal track.
