Default eBay..

Just a quick one fellas..

Anybody having trouble with signing in to eBay accounts at the moment? the last 2 days i've been unable to sign in with it just saying 'incorrect password'.

30 minutes ago i just went through the whole 'i've forgotten my password', changed it, signed in fine.. 10 minutes later, signed me back out and won't let me back in again!

If anyone could check so i can see if it's just a problem with my account?

Ta,

Hmm..

I can't see anything on the discussion boards either, so it must be something with me..

If i sign in from the left hand box i can get to the summary pages, but when i try and sell it prompts the log in box again and it just keeps looping on that.

I hate eBay for this reason amongst others, but when you want to sell something there's no better place really

Cheers for helping guys. I'll keep trying!

Well i've changed the password already from 'i've forgotten it' stage. It's still my email and whatnot, so i should be alright from that. Plus this is a new eBay account as they banned my last one () so anyone trying to hack a 0% feedback account would be pretty stupid.

Incidentally, i had a phone call from 'Paypal' the other day saying that i was in arrears with my account by £50 and i could pay over the phone with a credit or debit card. Knowing that i wasn't, and after asking him a few questions on Paypals policies, it came about that it was an obvious scam (a pretty crap one at that).

So of course, you don't just hang up ..."Hang on sir, i'll get my debit card, i'll be a minute or two"

Then put phone in pocket, and have a bet with mates to see how long he stayed connected.

For anyone interested, it was 12 minutes!

Works ok for me.

Big heads up - their fees are going through the roof - especially on 'buy it now'

Anyway, 'For those who use, look before you lose' because the fees are going up and up daily, hourly, minutely, secondly and by even smaller increments of made up words ending in 'ly' which could in fact be real words in a different context.

Hope that's clear

It just started prompting me to download a file called 'ISAPI.dll' each time i tried to sign in. Checking online, apparently it's a bit of a Firefox thing. So i've just cleared everything and it seems to be working now...

Hmm. I'm not catching on there.. I'm just literally making up words ending in ly. And not very good ones at that.

Another cryptic clue please
