thanks dude! I saw a few thanks to your reminder. Saw a couple of satellites first, then a plane or two. Bloody hell, them meteors are pretty damn quick!
If I didn't live in bright London I woul dmost likely be more of a star gazer.

Anyway, a few shooting stars do light my fire in a Patrick Moore kind of way

Oh, yes it is true, Patrick Moore does play the Xylophone

Hopefully there will be dozens of meteorites I can zoom into and you will at least see something.
Hmmmm, well they are meteors, not meteorites and they light the sky briefly as they enter our atmosphere at speeds between 25000 and 160000 mph - and he reckons he is going to have the time to "zoom into" dozens of them with a web cam.

I watched the night sky last night just laying there. I thought, 'where's my roof gone?'

Didn't see one shower - not even her across the road.

Well, i ventured out for an hour or two with some Class B friends to help with the patience (or lack of) . Managed to see 4-5, although they were quite faint compared to others i've seen in the past. Still, always great to see!
