On an older PC explorer 7 went a bit bananas so I'll load 8 on that when it's up and running. I try to use Firefox most of the time.

Firefox has been my preference for some time but I still struggle with some websites using Firefox. Not so with IE. I guess Web devs still heavily favour IE even though Firefox IIRC has about 20% of the browser market now.

Heh...quite a few who like Safari...

I have it installed on a PC (love the RSS feed page) but a few things bother me about it...

a. The font seems fuzzy whatever I do to adjust it. It's like Cleartype x3 or something. Too strong.

b. Cannot change the colour of the browser. Grey is nice but I would not mind changing it.

c. Why must Apple insist on attempts to trick one into downloading itunes?

"Update Safari" Ok..."Update Quicktime" Ok...but click on this link that says ITunes+ Quicktime Huh?

As a web dev IE is the one browser I wish didn't exist in any way shape or form because it makes styling an absolute bum ache.

I develop primarily on firefox and do checkups on opera, safari, (now google chrome too), and unfortunately IE7 and IE6 and now soon IE8.

LONG LIVE FIREFOX.

QUICK DEATH IE.

Yup...

@OJB

IE does have issues...it is slow but IE8 seems a bit quicker than 7 from my initial time with it. The set up is a bit slicker as well.

Ton loads of videos on their new site (could not get sound though).

It's a beta at the end of the day and so far it is quite slick but hangs from time to time. I still use IE7, Fire F3 e.t.c Always good to have options.

I will very likely browse the web from a Linux OS (which I have done before) to avoid the security issues on Windows at some point.
