Default Post gig activities

Just wondering what you guys do to wind down/chill out after (seeing or working) a gig (including studio sessions)?
- Unless absolutely knackered, in which case it's pass out in bed..
Maybe a snack, a bit of TV, a tipple, a little 'check out' sesh on our Forum - (let's exclude snuggling up to a loved one )..

Poll above is multi-select..

I usually have a coffee whilst checking for emails and messages... then pet the cat for a few minutes (really good for de-stressing) before going to bed.

After a gig, I spend an hour taking down the PA, lights, desk, loading the van, then drive home, then spend another hour unloading the van. Then crash out (maybe after a quick peek on here and GS)

After a studio session (if it's the last day) take everything down, hoover, wash the dishes, set up for the next day, go home, sit brain-dead scrolling through here, GS, myspace etc. Go to bed too late.

Remind me why we do this...?

Heh heh... yeah, forgot to mention packing down for an hour, load the van, drive for an hour, often more, sometimes less (including detours to find the nearest Wild Bean Cafe service station that's still open in the early hours to get enough coffee to keep you awake all the way home) and unload back at home before doing the aforementioned!

I still rue the day I chose keyboards in a rock band over the harmonica in an acoustic ensemble...

I rue the day I said I'd deal with the PA and lights in addition to my own rig!

I know exactly where you're coming from Trev. We stuff this little lot into an LDV van each time we play (and you can't see the FOH set-up in the pictures... monster of a double rack with 32 chan mixer above... damned thing's nearly big enough to include changing rooms)... This is why it takes nearly 2 hours to set-up and an hour and a bit to pack down

Ocasionally it does look rather cool though
