......is seriously starting to bug me now!
Moved house a couple of weeks ago, and im having to go through the usual phoneline transfer thingy. Which is all well and good but the charming people at BT fed me the line 'yes its quick and easy and will take no longer than 2 weeks'. Now apart from the fact the words 'quick' and 'easy' dont really fit with a 2 week wait in my world, that was almost a month ago grrrrr!sneaking a quick hour here and there in work just isnt cutting it for me, I had no idea I was so addicted lol Anyhow rant over, thanks for your time, caffeine and nicotine now required.... Happy Conor will return shortly ![]() |

Did you not get a move date and plan ahead?
You can live without food and water but not the internet. It's a cautionary tale, fellow posters. ______________________________

Ah well, hopefully be sorted soon Quote:

What about your warranty surely that covers the battery cost...no

I have had similar experiences and find that constantly putting pressure on them by calling, and even writing them if necessary can result in a more prompt reponse. I think the longest downtime I have had is about 2 -3 days. But a 3 week or longer wait suggests something is seriously wrong internally at BT. I cannot see why it should take that long. Hopefully you will be back up and running soon. |

Yeah the Blu ray drive you still have in it is nice and now that HD DVD is out of the picture Blu Ray is the dominant format so you should get plenty of mileage out of that drive when using Blu ray discs now and for some time into the future.![]() |

There is no way to tell how long the battery has been in storage before you buy it. With lithium battery's the problem is that it starts to lower its performance once it comes out from production line. Average life for lithium battery is somewhere between 2-3 years once made. Only thing to do is put the battery in cold place with 2/3 of load left, as some do with rc-plane battery's. But anyway do not store your battery full, rather use 2/3. You shoud look if your battery has a manufacturing date printed somewhere. If it has been sitting on the self for a year or so before you bought it you can complain about it.
