I was thinking about starting a poll like this last week but never got round to it.. I'm tea all the way. Strong, drop of milk, no sugar and served in a large mug!

Us Irish have tea in the blood! There's nothing like a nice cuppa tea!!

But since I moved to Spain over three years ago...I've switched to coffee...so many varieties and it tastes nothing like the instant stuff in Ireland!

BUT...and here is the contradiction maybe...I've just had a recent delivery from a friend in Ireland...one box of Barry Tea and one box of Lyons Tea. That's 160 teabags in total! That'll keep us going here for a year or more!!!

So at the end of the day...coffee or tea...I'll take both please!!!

LOL Yes. I admit you're right. But we use Guinness (WITH A CAPITAL "G", please) for medicinal purposes - blood transfusions etc.

I didn't want to give the wrong impression as it is still children's viewing time...and you never know who anyone is with these usernames!!!!

I wish I'd gone for the tea or coffee - instead I opted for a bottle of fizzy lemon something-or-other which someone had kindly shook just before they put it in the fridge.

So the top coms off with a pop, I get showered in lemonade, as does the floor, the dog, and anything else in range. Very annoying since I'd just come out of the real shower!

Tea is my favourite by far, cant beat tea, especially the calming tea tetley used to do, which tastes well nice (had to buy a box when they discontinued it although i think i only have about 5 tins left now ). However coffee in the morning (occasionally partnered with energy drink) is a must between the hourse of 7 and 11 am
