Smile Tim Exile now signed to Warp!!

I don't know about you lot, but I think Tim Exile is a fantastic new innovator in the convoluted world of Electronica. He conjures and manipulates his live performances on-the-fly using his voice, some loops, and a home-made Reaktor patch; he provided Reaktor users with the baffling sample-sequencing machine, Vectory; and he's a graduate of Pyschoacoustics!

If you ask me, I think this could lead to something pretty promising. Pro+Agonist was good, but I doubt it'll be anything compared to what he's got to come. A new album is expected in early 2009.

You'll find more info soon on the Warp Website.

He should have been on Warp a long time ago if you ask me, he's great to watch live and Vectory is indeed mind blowing, and i really cant get my head around how it got it to run so smoothly, still the guy is a bit of a Reaktor Wiz so hats off to him, i only hope i can get that good at it at some point . It'll be interesting to hear his new stuff, cheers for the info, nice to hear the warp label is still growing with awesome acts.

That lecture looked awesome!! Cheers for posting that.

We were going to have him guest lecture at our uni, but I don't think the lecturers got around to asking him in time.

I watched him at Glade 2006 and it blew my mind! The next day, I spoke to him while he was having a break at his Bass Boxing tent, about how much I was looking forward to purchasing the recording of the previous night's set when it would become available on Bleep, because I thought it was amazing! But he'd only gone and forgotten to record it!

But, at least I got rail-perched viewing of the afternoon set he did that very Sunday instead.

Okay, I know I set this post up a while ago, but would you check out the new tunes on Tim Exile's myspace! It's one step ahead for sure. I'm particularly interested in Carouselle...

What do you think?
