Hi waxxy
Do you mean vttimer.exe ? vttimer.exe is a valid part of the graphics system. It is however possible for spyware or viruses to disguise themselves as system processes such as vttimer.exe If you do not have an up to date anti-virus program in your PC then you can run a free check at Mc Afee; Virus Removal for Home and Home Office vttimer.exe has probably been set to run at startup of your PC. You could try running msconfig ( START -> RUN , then type "msconfig" and press ENTER ) then look under the Startup tab. You might see vttimer.exe there and you can try deselecting it so it will not start next time you boot your PC. |
