Default Native Instruments Poll

Native Instruments have just dropped the price of Komplete Classic to not much more than the price of the individual components! You are almost getting four products for the price one with this offer.

The question is which of the four products in Komplete Classics is the best?

B4 II for me. It's four instruments in one, all modelled as opposed to sampled. Cool stuff.

I've heard good things about MOTU's Electric Keys

Anyone used it?

I use akoustic piano for my daily practise...I love the Beckstein!!

For some reason though it doesn't seen to like being called up in my DAW so I use it stand alone...but great sound.

I found Akoustik to only really be usable if you completely switch off the inbuilt EQ and stick to the "Studio" ambience setting.

I have all 4 (bought seperately... jmostly eBay bargains!)... I voted for B4, in terms of emulation I think it continues to be a stand-out peice of modelling.

I've had a lot of fun with Akoustik, B4, and Elektrik. They're all great in their ways, and you can get some really nice sounds out of all of them. I do prefer Steinberg's The Grand 2 for acoustic piano sounds (it's a lot softer and sweeter sounding, with much less firm grandness to the notes), but I still have a lot of love for AP.

I would buy the pack without hesitation.

I bought Komplete 5 with Kore 2 - special DV deal!

I am still drooling over it!! There's enough here to keep me busy learning and exploring for ages!! I'm a big NI fan...and now a mate of mine has been playing around with my setup and is becoming a convert!!

I'd do the same but there's just no room in my two-bed apartment! Plus the neighbours wouldn't appreciate it!

Although I like my M-Audio Keystation Pro 88, there is nothing like the feel and look of a real piano! Maybe I could put the mattress on top of a grand but my missus might get a touch of vertigo!!

If I had the money for a Bosendorfer, the ideal space to play it in and some decent microphones, well then I'd... actually I'd probably be sunning myself in the Bahamas
