Default Komplete 6

So, it appears there's no more Komplete 5 available.. NI's site shows it as temporarily out of stock

If indeed Komplete 6 is around the corner, what's it gonna have in the box..
Mutations, additions, losses..??

What would you guys like to see?

i just seem to have a feeling Komplete 6 will not be made???
i think it will now revolve around some kind of KORE komplete set???

to be fair all the instruments available in K5 are at the pinnacle of feature sets, minor bug fixs are always welcome but for the life of me i cant think how they would improve them? 64bit has already been seen too... so.. erm...

Komplete 6 will be iPhone only and operate itself.

'serious' answer :-

I reckon NI will sell more addon packs in the future. Kore packs etc.

Same thing happened with the Komplete Synths bundle when it become discountinued.

It is a possiblilty that K6 is getting ready to be launched. Beeing discussed rigorously over @ N.I. sales forum.

If that were the case, then Komplete 5 would be available for ever, theoretically.

I agree totally. Each instrument is top class imo. I imagine a likely route for K6 would be to include new instruments. What they would be would be anyone's guess.

Or maybe as you are suggesting, Kore Sound Packs might be included which would be a delight for those with the free Kore Player. And for those of us with Kore? Hard to tell how it might go.

Yeah focus on Kore and the packs. But that is unlikely to happen.

Most big software companies going to want to bundle their products for the consumers to buy. Because when they buy a product from them they're going to want the WHOLE product line.

Their closets rivals IK Multimedia?

As I pointed out the other day it does add:

Please Note:Komplete is temporarily out of stock and will be available again soon.

The only thing it doesn't give is the version number.

Some said they may give some Le version of Maschine (software) with a favourable Maschine upgrade (including hardware).

I noticed that companies at recent events launched mainly hardware, whereas software had been the mainstay for a year or two.

Look at software and how it's gone.

Let's make it standalone, oh let's now make it a plug-in, oh let's give it a big library, oh let's now make it totally controllable from insde the programme too, oh let's add effects, ermm.... any ideas... guys....erm let's now get some hardware attached

Goign down the Kore option is pheasable. The software contains all of the synth engines. So they can create as many different patches/instruments for all of them as they want in future....

Battery 4 has gotta be around the corner. Purely because of the products age, and the crazy offers they have been doing on it lately. Sub £100 bundles etc... retailers have obviously been told to shift the stock !

I don't know - they seem to have been pushing the 64 Bit route - they're slowly releasing native (no pun intended) 64 Bit versions of all their plugs.

Reaktor could do with an upgrade, but does anyone seriously have time to fiddle with it other than the stock ensembles?

FM8/Absynth seem as advanced as they can get.

B4 could do with some Farfisa/Vox extras

Guitar Rig 3 is comprehensive. Could do with some more boutique pedals/FX etc.

Massive is, well, massive.

Pianos are a little dated due to the fact that they've been superseded by rivals (I use Ivory and that's superior).

So where from here? Expanding the Kore line would make sense, as those packs are really quite good (esp. the Urban line)
