No Reaktor 6 then....

Would anyone buy Kontakt 4 for £299 when Komplete 6 is £399?

Looks like Guitar Rig software has been discontinued. Now only available with the hardware Guitar Rig Pro and in Komplete 6.
Is it true that many of the individual product updates are only available in Komplete 6?? Where does that leave people like me who own everything except Massive and Battery as individual products? It's just not cost effective for me to buy Komplete 6. Shame they don't do a "side-grade" pricing dependent upon the amount of products you already own.

No info on the NI website. Reaktor 5, Massive, FM8 and Battery 3?? no improvements there. Probaby means they discontinued Pro 53.

Lots asked about this and they did it a few years back and it turned out to be difficult to manage, apparently. The one good thing is you can sell your single items freely (once de-registered). People who had a fair few products could have had the whole Komplete and could even have made a profit if they sold their singles. Massive and Battery have been selling at reasonable prices on forums.

I feel like I'm banging my head against a wall.

I was about to buy M-Tron Pro, which I've been after for a while. Just for the basic Mellotron sounds, the rest being a big bonus.

But now, Komplete 6 upgrade would cost about the same, and it comes with Mellotron sounds plus a lot more.

But I can't get any information anywhere on what sounds/the extent of them - whether there are variations etc.

What a total ballache!
