Default Does anyone have any experience installing Komplete 5 offline?

I've been on the NI forums but its after business hours in Germany and I'm guessing I won't get much help for a while (if at all). I've followed all the instructions to the letter, got my request and the return code, entered it in Service Centre and its told me everything is activated then still tells me to activate all the software. Its a vicious circle.

Getting the damn request was bad enough, I had to change my password on my account before it would get out of the login/thank you, click next/login/thank you, click next/login loop it stuck me in.

Any thoughts lads, while some of my hair remains un-pulled-out?

I solved this by hooking up my DAW to the internet, something I said I wasn't going to do.
Manged to get everything activated, and despite crashing Cubase (I think the shock of having some heavyweight synths and samplers was a bit too much for the old boy) I think everything is sorted, but I'd be interested to know why the NI offline registration system is so naff. I even updated the Service Centre to no avail, other than it gave me slightly more details that 'Not Activated' as a message. I'm gonna leave my post up on the NI forums too, I want to know if this was just me. For once I know it wasn't human error, and what with the messing around getting the return code it wasn't my lucky day.
Oh well, now I just have a stack of manuals as big as a bible to wade through so I better snap to it.

I was reading a few posts from last week about that on the forum, but got further than the people complaining so assume they'd fixed it. Crazy, when you consider the amount of extra stuff they're no doubt selling since the price drop on Komplete.

It is and bloody annoying when you have the problem i had where i had reaktor installed (as i bought it way before i won komplete) then installed komplete without reaktor ticked and it decided to then switch my other copy which was us to date back to the initial komplete 5 version and switch it into demo mode. took 6 days to get a key back.

you know when your in via manual return file as it will list the products to activate, if it tries to give you a key without showing you the products you know its failed and you need to go back and resend the request

It did all that though, thats what wound me up. It even said product confirmed or whathaveyou and all instruments went green. Then just went round in circles. Service centre itself is a polava and a half. I hate being a moaning customer and don't expect everything to go right but you'd think by the fifth itteration of a longstanding product they must sell millions of that they would, by now, have a 100% reliable (or at least as close to 100% as is possible with this level of technology) system in place. And the forums are damn near useless from what I could tell.
