yeah, I'm confident this'll get fixed. there's always hiccups with the very latest everything - I recently did a massive system upgrade because I was between big projects, so now I'm on OSX 10.5.4, Pro Tools LE 7.4.2, Waves 6.0.5 etc - the bleeding edge of everything! I sent them full crash logs (the most boring reading you can imagine)...

I've heard nothing but good stuff about GForce's customer support so I'm sure it'll just be a matter of days before this it's all good and I'll try to post a more comprehensive report.

I downloaded the demo for this Tube Delay by Softube last night at about 7pm. By 9pm I can't imagine life without it. Its a truely great piece of plugin. I urge you to download the demo. Its the same code used for all the abbey road stuff... which is also incredible. I'm finding it particulary good on guitars and for dirtying up the bass. The valve stage is worth the asking price alone!

so which Gforce plugin are you having problems with ? as i bought 'virtual string machine' which doesnt work in leopard/logic8 its a font issue so you just download the correct font then it works ok.

it was the font issue, but the font keeps getting corrupted or something and I have to re-copy it to the fonts folder. right now it's been working for a few hours, so I'll cross my fingers and report back!

pretty much the only software plugins I use are from McDSP and UAD (though I do use the PT EQ plugins for surgical cutting)

The Digirack EQIII is superb. Never found an included plug-in with any DAW that works that well. +1.

I swear by:

Kontakt 2 (amazing multichannel sampler)
Sonic Charge MicroTonic (great for strong electronic kicks or twisted single hits)
Rob Papen Predator (lush basses and great all-rounder)
EXS24 (the default alone is great for sub bass, but of course it's Logic only - does it count?)
GRM Tools (who wouldn't?)
Ozone (empowers any sound)
Metaflanger and Mondomod (silky smooth Waves modulation plugs)

More often than not you'll find me using most of those plugs in my mixes.

Also use & like:
Guitar Rig

And...I used to be a fan of FL Studio's Sytrus!! Now I got new toys!
