Default Software vocoder for live use

Any good ones? Any freeware? I think Logic's vocoder can't be used live. Suggestions?

really depends on what sound your after and does it have to be software? did you want a stand alone or can it be hosted. a few that spring to mind are
Orange vocoder
N.I's vokator
Tone2 warmverb
Sugerbytes has one just cant remeber the name
so do AKAI

Just something basic to begin with. I have virtualizer pro which has vocoder, but I wouldn't want to plug cables every time I change from vocoder to other effects. Plug-in would be nice and if I could use both sounds from soft synths and hardware inputs to merge vocals with, I would be

check out the ones i mentioned then, btw why dont you load logics vocoder into mainstage and use it live like that?

The best vocoder, in my experience, is the Eiosis ELS Vocoder ... not sure if it would work in a live scenario, but sonically/feature-wise it's my favourite.

That sounds like an instrument rather than effect. I'll be downloading that demo..............
