i know native make the best vsts but theres lots off free ones knocking around and heres a link too a site were there allready linked for you too get them some off the effect vsts are brilliant.

heres a new free vst /standalone synth for you to download and keep .
its excellent for nord type sounds and its got superb filters which can be drawn in how you wish.for dance music/indie youd be hard pressed to find a finer synth for free ..heres the link..its made my some ukranian dance act and given away free too fans.check it out !!

heres another hot free vst synth its the helix plus new set of dance patches.its an excellent synth in fact i cant believe it is actually free its that good.

here's a recently-issued but little-known free VST from Sonic Studio -

Sonic Studio :: Sonic EQ & Sonic EQ le

it's a one-band version of their Sonic EQ, which has been in use for a long time on Sonic mastering workstations (and currently with soundBlade).

Choice of three filters and fully adjustable frequency, Q and gain.

for those using Pro Tools I've found that this works fine with the fxpansion wrapper.

I'm pretty sure it's Mac-only so apologies to PC users out there.
