hi sorry for late reply..make sure youve set your sound card up to record from the input your putting your guitar in check this by looking on your control system panel on your desk top and also make sure you arm the channel your recording in cubase ai4 if its not armed to record you will hear the sound but it wont record..tell me if this helps if not ill check my settings im using to help you more..

managed to get hold of a yamaha MW10c mixer today from DV. Unfortunately i am having a few problems using it. I have tried to record my guitar through the mixer to Cubase AI4 but have found that i can hear the guitar through the headphone port on the mixer and can see the lights flashing showing sound is being heard through the mixer but cannot record. I have tried all different input devices on the computer and the correct one according to the manual of the mixer itself but cannot get it to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated,
