The OctoPre will work fine with the DM3200... in fact just about any ADAT based preamps will work. Do be aware, though, that the OctoPres get hot, so be sure to leave 1U spare between each of the OctoPre's and the next bit of kit in your rack, ideally using a 1U grille in the gaps rather than a blanking plate. I'm afraid I'm using Cubase on Vista, so can't advise you directly about Logic on the Mac, but understand from the user forums ([URL="http://www.tascamforums.com"]www.tascamforums.com[/URL]) that the Mac drivers for the firewire option are very stable indeed.
