    Update from DV

    Hello Cen,
We have just recently moved over to using the Samsung Ram as we have had very poor quality OCZ ram of late with high failure rates, obviously we do not want to send out anything but fast stable ram which the Samsung ram has proved itself to be, of course you should have been made aware of this and we are in the process of changing the description on the website.

Please accept my apologies for this. The specification of the Ram you have is no less than the ocz ram and you should see no difference in performance.

I can source OCZ Ram for you if you wish to change over, but I would personally not be comfortable doing that due to the recent problems.
    kind regards etc.
I search into the OCZ Ram it appears that depending on the m/b used ie AUS there can be problems.

The Samsung might be better but it's cheap to buy Ebay 1Gb 14.99 new.
Have DV still charged us for OCZs that are more expensive. Need to ask about that:)

    Kind Regards,

Yesterday my Synergy arrived. But am not has happy as I'd like to be.

    1) 3 Thumb screws are missing from the back(so side panel not secure)
    2) The 3 Gb of RAM is not OCZ but Samsung! (this is a major annoyance)
    3) I ordered the UAO2 solo Card,the $50 voucher is missing
    4) No Mouse Matt
    5) Had to go in to machine twice to reconnect the additional hard drive and DVD player.

Seeing how I've had these problem. I was wondering about your RAM.
Have they given you OCZ or something else? If its something else you should not be a happy bunny. Don't accept it. To check your RAM you'll need to open the case. and read the memory sticks. OCZs should be easy to spot RAM is sandwiched between two Gold plates there's a Z on the sides.

I quote the website :Synergy AW7xx, AW3xx & Portman machines only use the best quality OCZ RAM giving faster load times,
lower latency and power in reserve to run multiple software instruments,...

Hope your DAW is ok and your enjoying it:)
