Hi Dave,

I recently bought a Rode M3, and is questioning whether I should get a behringer B-5 instead. I found on the forums that you've had both so.. if you wouldn't mind giving your opinion can u talk about which one u prefer?
I'll be using it for fingerstyle acoustic guitar, looking to capture crisp clear top end.

Thanks so much! Your response will help a lot.

Hi Dave hope you don't mind me asking you a question. I'm in the process of updating
my AW700 from 32 bit to 64 bit. Because I've got Kore 2, Frankie, Synergy tech, as suggested that I use a Host Bridge. The only one that I looked at so far is JBridge. http://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/
In your opinion would it do the job or is there a better software to be had elsewhere?

Many thanks

Hi Dave,

I was just wondering if you give me a few pointers in regards to the Yamaha 01x, which I believed you once owned. I recently purchased one and I'm just going nuts trying to get my head around it. My main problem is trying to map the input channel on the mixer to the channel in my DAW - I'm currently using Cubase 4. I know it should be something like channel 1 on the mixer should come out as track 1 in Cubase, but this isn't happening! - the whole MLAN channel thing is totally confusing me and all the tutorials and guides aren't helping. I would really appreciate it if you could just send me a brief and simple explanation of how to match the tracks up.

Hi Dave,

I am about to get the SE Titan as you did. Really interested to get your thoughts on it - I use a Rode NT1A at the moment and would be keen to hear your impressions on the differences of the Titan to your Rode. I would imagine it sounds altogether if not better?
Looks like a fantastic deal but I don't want to get it just because it's heavily discounted!
Thanks heaps,
PS Sweet studio!

Hi Dave,

My name is Rob, I noticed a post you left a while ago about the Tascam DM-3200 console. I am considering buying one and was wondering if you could give me some advice on the set up I am thinking of. Like you have done, I would like to add some extra mic pres to the Tascam and was considering buying two Focusrite OctoPres (connected to the ADAT ins on the console, of course with an extra ADAT card) to give a total of 32 mic inputs - I understand you have the same? How is the stability of this setup for you? I will be using Logic 8 on a Mac Pro, connecting the DM via Firewire - do you have any experience of using the Tascam with Logic or know of any stability issues?

Thanks for any help you can give me Dave.

ps. Great looking studio you have there!
